Please note: This tour takes place in New Smyrna Beach, about a 1-hour drive south of the Hyatt (Symposium HQ). This tour is only available to registered attendees of the Oyster South Symposium.

SHARKBITE OYSTERS
New Smyrna Beach

Join Sam Walsh of Sharkbite Oysters on a tour of Sharkbite’s beautiful lagoon and check out some cool oyster history — the largest shell midden in the continental US is right next to his lease!

We’ve chartered a 40-foot covered pontoon boat from Captain Kevin of Turtle Mound for a two-hour tour, which can accommodate up to 24 people.

Meeting time:
Plan to be at JBs Fish Camp by 1 PM, no later than 1:15 PM. We launch at 1:30 PM sharp!

Come earlier if you’d like to have lunch at JBs so you can head back to St. Augustine after the tour. The welcome reception at Boat Drinks kicks off at 6 PM!
