LANDLOCKED is Oyster South’s annual fundraiser bringing chefs, farmers, and oyster lovers together for a one-of-a-kind Southern seafood celebration. The event raises vital support for growers, showcases premium farmed oysters, and builds community around the people, waters, and cultures that make Southern aquaculture thrive.

Annual Oyster South Symposium
The Oyster South Symposium is our annual gathering of farmers, researchers, chefs, and industry partners from across the Southern coast. Over two days, participants share new science, farming techniques, market insights, and community stories—strengthening connections, supporting growers, and advancing the future of Southern oyster aquaculture.

Peer to Pier Program
Peer to Pier is Oyster South’s mentorship program connecting new and emerging oyster farmers with experienced growers across the region. Through hands-on learning, site visits, and shared problem-solving, participants gain practical skills, industry insights, and a supportive community—helping strengthen the next generation of Southern shellfish farmers.
