Support the future of Southern oyster farming.
Donating to Oyster South is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of oyster farmers, coastal communities, and the environment.
We’re a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that connects communities and provides resources to support oyster farmers, cultivate thriving communities, promote healthy waters and celebrate good food in the southern United States. When you make a donation, you join us in championing the appreciation of Southern farm-raised oysters, the health of our waters, and the preservation of historic foodways.
Join us in the Sunshine State! Our annual symposium for oyster growers and industry professionals from across the South is happening in St. Augustine on March 21-22, 2025, with a welcome reception on Thursday, March 20th, and a closing party on Saturday, March 22nd.
This meeting brings together producers, gear suppliers, distributors, chefs, food writers, vendors, researchers, students and managers from the southeast and Gulf coast regions to discuss pressing issues and relevant, practical research on oyster aquaculture. The Symposium is intended for industry members and those with ties to the science, business and culture of oyster farming.
Would your business or organization like to support the Symposium? Check out our sponsorship deck and email Bill Walton at bill@oystersouth.com to get the ball rolling.
